The Group undertakes activities such as Hot Dip Galvanizing, Steel Manufacturing, Pre-painted Steel and Colour Coated, Aluminum Manufacturing under the banner of Shree Precoated Steels Limited. This company was incorporated on 18th March 1985 and commercial production of Colour Coated Sheets (CCS) and Colour Coated Coils (CCC) began in the year of 1993 with the installed capacity of 64000 TPA. Stepping into the arena of backward integration, the company started manufacturing 120000 MT PA of Galvanized Coils / Sheets and 120000 MT PA of Cold Rolled Coils for the existing Colour Coating plant to have the advantage of added valuation on the products.
Presently, Shree Precoated Steels Limited is growing at a rapid pace of more than 30% pa. During the F.Y. 2003–2004 the annual turnover of the company was 500 crores which increased to 750 crores in the F.Y. 2004–2005 and is expected to be 1100 crores during the current financial year. With the increase in the turnover the Company has also increased its production capacity with the expansion of the Mill.
